America roll your eyes tomorrow, October the 14th, to see an annular solar eclipse. This happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth while it is at its farthest point from Earth. The Moon appears smaller than the Sun and does not completely cover the star. Because the Sun is never completely covered, observers must wear proper eye protection at all times too watch the phenomenon.
The NASA website has a dedicated page where everyone can follow the eclipse, beacause it will be visible only in the United States, in Central and South America.
Remember that in a remote future solar eclipses will be only anular, because the Moon is slowly moving away from the Earth.
