The James Webb Telescope launched in summer 2022 is a NASA mission, with the partnership of ESA (European Space Agency) and CSA (Canadian Space Agency).

The telescope gives full-color images and spectroscopic data and it discloses a new astronomy era. It is an infrared technology and it is the highest resolution infrared images of the Universe ever seen. We are looking more than 13 billions years back and we could study the Universe with new understanding. When Hubb Telescope was launched in the 1990 the atmosphere was a problem, James Webb crossed the problem only few decades after, and now we can see depper in The Universe, in the Solar System and we could probaly have new information about life.

The first image – on July 2022 – shown was a cluster of galaxies where it is evident a gravitational lens. This cluster deflects and amplifies the more distant galaxies light. Everything is in line with Einstein’s previsions.

Furthermore James Webb has discovered the oldest galaxy ever seen in the Universe. According to scientists, the galaxy called GLASS-z13 dates back only 300 million years after the Big Bang and it surpasses the oldest galaxy known GN-Z11 by about 100 million years.

So we have millions of good reasons to have a look at Webb’s discoveries, starting from a simple curiosity: we can see our Solar System as never seen before. Look at the most surprising Jupiter images.

In whatever color scale you look at it, Jupiter always likes. And the James Webb Space Telescope particularly likes it. It collect surprising details about the planet, its rings and even the moons that orbit it.

Scientists see giant storms, powerful winds, dawns, and extreme temperatures and pressures. The dawns extend high above Jupiter’s north and south poles.

So follow the Webb Spece Telescope updates to discover more about Universe. In next posts I will show you other details.
